In this study, the #DiVominer text big data analysis platform was used to analyze the members’ inquiry records published by the Legislative Yuan to understand the proportion of legislators inquiring about sports-related issues in the tenth legislature.
First of all, the team collected 9133 questioning minutes in the first three sessions of the 10th Legislative Council (February 2020 to July 2021). According to the classification of the information published by the Legislative Yuan, they can be divided into: committee questions, project questions, and general questions. Personal inquiry and general inquiry. Party inquiry. In the cause of the case, there were about 120 questions about sports-related words, accounting for about 1.3%. These questions are mainly committee questions (about 81%), especially the Education and Culture Committee, and the others are project questions and general questions.
In the tenth legislators, a total of 47 legislators have raised questions on sports-related issues. From the line chart, it can be found that #吴思瑶committee members (6 times) have the highest number of inquiries , and #张廖万坚committee members, #林宜瑾committee members, and #赖品妤committee members all have 5 times. It is worth mentioning that among the committee members who questioned sports-related issues more than (including) 4 times during the three sessions of the current session, only #洪孟楷committee is not a member of #Education and Culture Committee . Since the Eastern Olympics was originally scheduled to be held in 2020, related questions may occur during the ninth session, so we analyzed the number of times that the ninth legislators questioned sports related issues. A total of 57 members have asked questions about sports. Among them, all 15 members with more than 4 questions are members of the Education and Culture Committee.
